I didn't intend to find someone who would be able to make me forget all of that, but I certainly wasn't willing to let him go now that I had. Bryce Watching from the shadows wasn't enough anymore. I wanted my girl front and center, in the flesh. So when she found herself in trouble, you're damn right I made sure I was there, and that I would be the only one she'd ever think to come running to. ♡ This novella takes place ten years prior to PortCity Killers. It ends on a HFN with an ambiguously optimistic ending. There are some continuity errors in PCK now that this book is out, which will be addressed at a later date in editing. You do not have to read the series to understand these characters; it stands alone as a work, but may enrich your PCK experience (especially if you liked Daddy Bryce).
