Arthur findet am Waldrand ein merkwürdiges Bündel, aus dem ein noch merkwürdigeres Wesen zum Vorschein kommt: zunächst zwei Beinchen, nicht dicker als Bleistifte, mit winzigen Stiefeln aus rotem Samt an den Füßen.
