Potter & Perry's Fundamentals of Nursing is the first full-colour, comprehensive, fundamentals textbook published for nursing students in Australia and New Zealand. The text incorporates the latest research, methods and skills universally accepted, with issues and concepts particular to the health care systems of Australia and New Zealand. The text contains 14 chapters extensively adapted and reviewed by leading expert academics from Australia and New Zealand. These chapters have been identified as needing specific local content, and replace the corresponding chapters from the US edition. The remainder of the text has been partially re-worked to replace US specific data and information with relevant material from our region. To ensure currency, the Australasian edition of Potter & Perry's Fundamentals of Nursing is based on the new 5th US edition (published July 2000).
