A wonderful tale of a very bad little Prince who put spiders in soup, pulled up the roses in the royal garden and broke all of his toys. He always frowned. Then he hit a Witch with a stone from his slingshot ... needless to say by the end of the book he was smiling a lot! It illustrations are reminiscent of Maurice Sendack. How Prince Bertram stopped being a beast.
