Liam is a prince of a small, undisclosed country. His best friend is Deacon, a fosterling from a small, impoverished Appalachian town in the United States. When Liam accompanies Deacon on an emergency trip back to Deacon's Appalachian home, circumstances there force Liam to reexamine his self-serving ideals, and for both of them to reconsider their feelings for one another.
