From the bestselling author of the Gideon Johann Western Series, the Wild Horse Westerns Series, and the Hand Of Western Series, comes Return To Laramie! Deputy Beau Messinger lived a quiet life until trouble found him and kept right on finding him. After he makes a name for himself by putting an end to the careers of a pair of stagecoach robbers, Beau learns his fellow deputies in Cheyenne resent him and his reward money. With an opportunity to return to Laramie for a fresh start after being gone for ten years, Beau heads home. Laramie proves to be every bit as challenging as the town he left behind him, causing him to doubt himself. He struggles with the difficult Sheriff Buford Carlyle, a father that wants him to return to their ranch, and his feelings for Sandy, the goodhearted whore back in Cheyenne, and Josie, his childhood friend. When the sheriff is wounded, Beau’s mettle is tested as he attempts to solve two murders in the county. One of which he blames on himself, and the other of a prominent citizen. Will Beau find the killers and win over the town in order to conquer his own self-doubts and will the love he yearns for finally come his way? Duane Boehm has written another western novel with enough humor, heartbreak, love, and outlaws to keep you turning the page.

Duane Boehm grew up on a farm outside of Petersburg, Illinois. All the time spent driving a tractor gave him plenty of opportunity to let his imagination run wild and not tear up too much equipment. The two passions he developed early in life were the love of playing guitar and reading books. He eventually moved to a mini-farm outside of Murfreesboro, Tennessee with his wife and replaced planting corn with trees and raising dogs. For a number of years he worked as an IT consultant and continued with being a part-time musician and songwriter. He dabbled in writing short stories with the idea in the back of his mind that someday he would write a novel. One Christmas after watching "A Christmas Carol", he was inspired to begin his journey as a novelist.
