The Sightless
2018
If the World ended tomorrow, who would you want by your side?
For thirty-year-old, Katherine Logan, that's an easy choice. Eli has always been there for her, and even though he is her best friend, she can't help but want the sexy as sin veteran. Chance has her camping at the start of the Appalachian Trail, when all hell breaks loose. As if the dead walking around eating people weren't bad enough, throw in two hot hikers, and Katherine's world gets flipped upside down.
Now she doesn't know if she will survive the Apocalypse, or if the three guys that have become her sole companions, will steal her heart.
One thing is for certain, the trail has never been so hot!
\\This is an 18+ Whychoose Zombie Apocalypse story. Due to the nature of it being set in an apocalyptic world, there are dark themes some may find triggering.
This story has went through a major revision with a fantastic editor and any grammar issues, typos, or other problems have been corrected. The wonderful storyline is still the same, but additional dialogue has been added.

Reclamation
2019
Katherine
It’s been sixteen years since her life was turned upside down. Sixteen years since a botched medicine and the flesh-eating bacteria created a pandemic, unlike anything the world had ever seen. The dead began to walk. To run. And like all things that move, they needed sustenance. The flesh of the living had sustained them, and it was like Hell had risen and walked the Earth. Survival for Katherine came at the cost of blood, sweat, and tears, but in the end, she’d made it. She and her lovers had made it. But life wasn’t easy. Not when Katherine found out she was pregnant in the midst of the apocalypse, and not when she was bitten by one of the Sightless, changing both her life and that of her unborn child, forever.
Hope
Sixteen years old, and death is what she’s always known. It literally walks around her, seeking out the flesh of the ones she loves—like sharks drawn to blood. But not her. She’s different from the others; Her hearing, sense of smell, all enhanced, and her parents have trained her to use those senses to ensure no one ever takes advantage of her. But there are some things they can’t teach, let alone understand. While the dead may not seek her out to make her their next meal, they still seek her out. And when they do, they listen and obey her every command.
Two women, two entwined lives, and they’re going to face a new journey. Times have changed, the world has changed, and with it, the Sightless aren’t the only things to fear anymore. It’s the unseen that poses the greatest risk now, and when the cough starts, the time you have left starts to tick away. With the fever, you’re halfway there, and when you see the blood, you’re at Death’s door. So, when the cough starts too close to home, their only chance to survive is in Washington DC. Almost seven hundred miles from home.
This is a companion story to the Revel and Rot series. It can be read alone, but it’s better if you have finished the series, as it contains spoilers. If you enjoy it, know that Hope will have her own story as well.
A print edition of this story will be featured in MORE, a limited edition anthology for Literary Love Savannah 2019.
