West Texas in 1878 was a tough place to keep a ranch going. It also was a tough place for a mail order bride and her older rancher husband. Molly and Micah Stewart spent three years trying to have a baby. Now, their son Evan is nine years old and has been taken by Isatai, a Comanche chief, who plans to kill him while Micah watches.
