Rhys and Ally should have been together in highschool but life had other plans. When Rhys' dad got himself into trouble, the only way out was for Rhys to agree to date and eventually marry Ashley. Even though Ally was in love with Rhys, she stood back and stayed in her role as friend. When everyone finds out that Rhys wasn't with Ashley by choice, Ally secretly hopes they would finally get the chance to be together. That is until everyone realises that they may not be able to get Rhys out of the arrangement and the only solution is for him to marry Ashley.
