House-sitting can be murder. Candy shop owner, and amateur sleuth, Candice Rothburg, and her husband, Eli, are house sitting for her parents, who have sailed away on a tropical cruise. Unfortunately, nothing ever goes as planned in the neighboring small towns of Lake Marion and Maple Creek, Michigan, and the simple job of watching her parents’ house and dogs gets a lot more complicated when Candice comes home to a burglary gone wrong.
