Alexis has relocated back to Manhattan from the west coast and is living in a gorgeous apartment, which is now belongs to her and her brother, Declan, since their parents died. The holidays are right around the corner, but Alexis isn't feeling especially festive. She has always hated the holidays. Cole and his billionaire brothers love them. He first meets Alexis at a food pantry while dressed as a Santa, listening to children's Christmas requests (which he and his brothers will fill). Alexis is volunteering there, handing out food and trying to keep her mind off the merriment around her. Sparks fly when these two discover they are neighbors and have a strong physical attraction. But, Alexis is a new member of the rival Bronx pack, and works for the software company they run, that directly competes with Cole's company. They shouldn't even be friends, let alone anything more.
