Christine is a Filipino-American freelance illustrator & character designer from New Jersey. She grew up reading cozy library books and filling countless sketchbooks with drawings. She graduated from Montclair State University with a BFA in Animation & Illustration. Christine has worked on over 20 books for kids and currently works on picture books, including Lolo's Sari-Sari Store and Box of Dreams! She especially loves stories about community, creativity, and family. Christine is now creating art in Houston, TX.
