They say history is written by the victors, but what if the greatest tale of all was twisted by Satan and God? Welcome to my version of Satan and Hell!Who knew Satan was truly a female? Behind the myth of Lucifer lies Tempest, the true Satan, pushed from Heaven not for her devious nature but because Lilith loved her, and not her brother, God. Portrayed as a villain in mankind's story, she is the antithesis of her notorious reputation—a leader of fairness not one who destroys all who go against her. When intrepid author Jacob is sent to write a book about Tempest, he discovers an underworld that challenges the very fabric of his beliefs. In a world where humanity is knowledgeable about the supernatural, Tempest finds herself vulnerable when she is drawn to Jacob, who she quickly realizes is her one true mate. As their ardor ignites, they find acceptance from everyone around them. But unrest stirs as hidden desires unravel. Dark secrets surface, entwining fates and exposing a love stifled by witchcraft. One of Lilith's many daughters, Lilac, bears the weight of a spell that could shatter the fragile balance between Tempest and Lilith. What will Lilith's fate be once Tempest learns what she has done? While Tempest is falling in love, will she be able to quell the uprising that threatens her rule over Hell, and can love surmount the shadows that seek to divide? Dive into a world where the greatest story is not of Heaven and Earth, but one that lies untold beneath, where the heart of Satan beats with humanity, not darkness.
Author

Janet Lee Smith is a 55 year old woman who has been wanting to write books for over 15 years but always put it off. She wrote professionally for the first time in 2006 when she wrote a magazine article for a small local magazine in CT. That was the extent of her professional writing for years, even though writing was her passion. Well, at 51 she decided it's time to stop putting it off and get it done! She was born and raised in New Bedford, MA and although she has considered moving to different states over the years, she's always stayed in her hometown. She has been with her wife for 20 years, and they've been married for 14 years. Their little demon pup, Daime, allows them to live with him. Of course he may change his mind on that at any time. He also occasionally likes to attack Janet's feet at night so she wears slippers to bed every night. Hey, I said he's a demon! They also have a little kitty, Princess Star. Well, Janet calls her Princess. Janet tends to do things later in life than others. For instance she went back to college when she was 38 years old and graduated with her BA in psychology when she was 42 years old. She's been working in helping people in one form or another since then. She currently works from home, which gives her more time to read and write. If you like serialized stories, I'm currently on Amazon's Kindle Vella. If you read the Friends for Life series one of the stories is that story. There is also a new one, "Is This My Happily After", the story of two women who meet at work and have an attraction to each other. Here is the link to that story: https://www.amazon.com/kindle-vella/s...
