I’m not a man that lays claim to much. Rose is my one and only exception. As the mayor’s daughter, she has a personal sense of duty to help save the town from crumbling to ruin. I’m going to do whatever it takes to ensure she succeeds. I need her in my life more than anything, and I’m going to prove it to her. If she needs help saving the town, that’s what we’re going to do. And then, only then, will I make her mine. I thought she was going to be Crescent Bay’s savior. Yet somehow, she’s saving me too.
