Zoe is eleven years old and has only one dream: to become a star ballerina! She goes to school at the prestigeous Ballet Academy, but everyone has to work really hard – the head teacher, Madame Olenska, is very strict. Preparing for the end of year show presents new challenges for Zoe and her friends – Zoe's best friend, Leda, is growing too tall for some of the parts and Laila's teasing is making them all miserable. Will they be able to reach out for their dreams? Or is it all destined for failure?

Zoe's happy to be back at the Academy after the Christmas holidays, and keen to start work on the new character dance lessons they will be having – lessons full of fast steps and excitement. Outside of school, life is just as interesting: Zoe's friendship with Leda seems to be turning frosty and she doesn't know why, but Roberto seems to behaving more friendly than ever! Life is a roller-coaster at Ballet Academy!

Zoe and her friends are more than a little surprised when Madame Olenska announces that she is going to leave them for a month to visit her family in Russia. But their new teacher has a totally different approach to dancing - could it be an exciting opportunity, or a disaster waiting to happen?

Zoe will also get to meet Roberto’s family who live in Milan, and spend some time with him. But she and Roberto haven’t been getting on very well lately so will this be a good or bad thing?

A new student joins the Ballet Academy – and has moved in with Zoe and her family. Zoe's beginning to feel like she never gets a break from dancing – or the new girl! What's worse, Madame Olenska is growing unhappy with the whole class . . . How will everyone prove they should stay at Ballet Academy?

Misteriose, solitarie, e in più gemelle, Mia e Nada Némirovsky sono le ultime arrivate all'Accademia. Molto brave, per di più. Ma in un modo strano, come perfette bambole meccaniche. C'è chi è sospettoso, chi le evita, chi si prende gioco di loro, e chi, come Zoe, cerca di conoscerle meglio. E intanto Florian scopre quanto è brutto essere invidiati, e Lucas ha una nuova passione dirompente...

La nuova direttrice con un soprannome, Ekatombe, che la dice lunga. Rocco, l'ultimo arrivato all'Accademia, che esige risposte, impegni, promesse. Un vecchio amico che se ne va per sempre.
