Part of Series

I hate Silas Saint. But we weren’t always enemies…not even close. Now, he’s a star D1 college baseball pitcher, bound for the major leagues. We were best friends growing up, but I ran like hell after the scandal (ghosted him, actually). I guess his taste has changed from trailer park to two-faced blonde sorority girls. I was perfectly fine with ignoring his existence before I was offered a job I couldn’t refuse. If I want my school paid for—I’m stuck working for the head baseball coach. Which means I’m being forced to watch Silas sweating through batting practice and striking out every opponent he’s up against. If he’d stop glaring at me from across the cafeteria, maybe I would stop flirting with everyone on the team except for him. I can’t say why I hate him—it’s a big, dirty secret. A secret Silas CANNOT find out. A scandal. The best word to describe my life up to this point is scandalous. And the ‘scandal’ part, started with a Saint. This book is a complete standalone, but the best reader experience would be to start with Falling For Temptation, book 1 of the Good Ol' Boys series. This is book 3.

Mj can't seem to resist pairing a damaged heroine with a hero who manages to tear down her walls one brick at a time. Some family drama, a troubled past, a smidge of angst and a little spice is basically her entire love story formula. She is a single mother from Texas and eternally indebted to her writing, which rescued her from the darkest place she had ever been. Her lifelong dream is to one day write all her books in a house by the sea, with a wine cellar that's never empty and her imaginary characters somehow becoming her real-life friends.
