Killian's Dead
2020
Love is for losers.
Jack doesn't care about anything except music. All she wants to do is find a decent gig, stand by the speakers and let the bass roll through her. It's the only reason she gets out of bed.
Until she meets Winta. In the space of a second, everything is different. Winta knows what she wants and for one night, what she wants is Jack. It feels like the start of forever.
Then Winta disappears and Jack faces a choice: should she go back to her life, or track down the only girl who can change it beyond recognition?

May Day
2020
If the murderer you’re tracking is a vampire, then you want a vampire detective. Just maybe not this one.
It’s not that Jack Valentine is bad at her job. The youngest member of Oxford’s Seekers has an impressive track record, but she also has an impressive grudge against the local baron, Killian Drake.
When a human turns up dead on May Morning, she’s determined to pin the murder on Drake. The problem is that none of the evidence points to him. Instead, it leads Jack into a web of conspiracy involving the most powerful people in the country, people to whom Jack has no access. But she knows someone who does.
To get to the truth, Jack will have to partner up with her worst enemy. As long as she can keep her cool, Drake will point her to the ringleaders, she’ll find the murderer and no one else will have to die.
Body bags on standby.
May Day is the first book in Josie Jaffrey’s Seekers series, an urban fantasy series set in Oxford, England.

Judgement Day
2021
Vampires don't get happily ever afters.
Jack Valentine finally has her shit together. She has a great job, great friends (well, one at least) and a girlfriend whom she loves, even if she can't work up the courage to tell her that yet. Unfortunately, she also has an archnemesis who's about to punish her crimes in the worst possible way: by making her spend time with him.
Which she could cope with, maybe, if she didn't have problems at work as well. When the body of a human judge is found in a locked library, there's no denying that she was murdered by one of the Silver – by a vampire – and the evidence points worryingly close to home. If that wasn't bad enough, some of Jack's least favourite people are opening a new blood bar in Oxford with questionable motives. For Jack and her team, it's becoming increasingly hard to separate allies from enemies.
With conspiracies on every side, the simmering tensions in Silver society are about to come to a head. As usual, Jack intends to be right in the middle of it. She does like it when things get messy.
Judgement Day is the second book in Josie Jaffrey’s Seekers series, an urban fantasy series set in Oxford, England.

Winta's Day
2023
Vampires are hardwired to kill. Is it any wonder that some become experts?
Jack Valentine is in trouble. The Seekers are living on borrowed time, her ex-girlfriend has gone missing in suspicious circumstances, and someone's sent her a seriously twisted love letter attached to a hanged man. It's not that she doesnt appreciate the sentiment, and sure, the guy deserved everything he got, but even Jack knows that expressions of affection don't usually involve murder. It's not the first time Jack's questionable romantic choices have caused problems. Her latest disaster ended with her nemesis, Drake, buggering off to Europe on an extended sexcation, leaving her to face the consequences of the worst walk-of-shame of her life alone. Dealing with that was bad enough, but now her fellow Seekers are poking their noses into Jack's love life in a case that threatens to be their last.
Jack has two toe the line or go rogue. And with her team falling apart around her, rebellion's starting to sound pretty sweet.
Winta's Day is the third book in Josie Jaffrey's Seekers series, an urban fantasy series set in Oxford, England.

Blood Brothers
2021
Two vampires. One heist.
Alistair is a washed-up drunk. He's been rejected from the Solis Invicti, he's dejected from that failure, and – to add insult to injury – he's just been ejected from his local pub.
Then a Silver named Adewale comes to him with a proposition: steal the dagger that belongs to the leader of the Solis Invicti, and bargain their way into the Silver's most elite fighting force.
There's only one problem: if they fail, they're dead.
Blood Brothers is a short story prequel to the Sovereign and Seekers series, which is available now to Patreon supporters.

Dying's easy. Lying's hard.
Cam never wanted to come to Oxford. He's only here because he followed Ed, the man he loves, but Ed's more interested in his experiments than he is in Cam.
It looks like it's going to be a boring few years, until Cam stumbles into a crime scene and unwittingly becomes a key witness. He faces a choice: continue being bored, or go undercover to help the Seekers to track down the culprit.
If only he knew how to tell a lie.

I have always written stories, but it wasn't until I started the first book in the Solis Invicti series in 2014 that I really became obsessed with writing. I love to read, particularly where the escapism of the story is enhanced with an element of fantasy or science fiction. For me, writing is simply an extension of that journey, but I get to decide what happens next (though it's amazing how often the characters seem to decide for themselves what I'm going to write!). I love to hear from readers, so please do get in touch through my website or via Twitter. Thank you for reading!
