We feel safe in small towns. There’s a sense of security in seeing familiar faces and places. But, unfortunately, sometimes letting down our defenses can be deadly. There’s a serial killer in the town of Kittiport, and Eleanora Ward, owner and operator of Papa Pacelli’s Pizzeria, is profoundly affected when a close friend worries that Ellie may be the next victim. The killer seems to seek out successful small business owners, and with Ellie’s husband being a sheriff, she feels like the odds are stacked against her. Wanting to remove herself from a potentially dangerous situation, Ellie takes a trip to Florida, thinking she’ll be safe. Jumping at shadows, and seeing danger lurking around every corner, the pizzeria owner doesn’t know who to trust, and fears that she may have been followed. Staying on her guard, she has to figure out who the killer is, before she becomes the next victim.
