Saving Raylynn

2020

Renegade After being an Enforcer for the Smoky Mountain Regulators for the last seven years, I've seen some gruesome things. Hell, I've done some things that would give most serial killers nightmares. But nothing has ever gutted me like finding Raylynn—beaten, raped, drugged, and barely holding onto life in a filth ridden basement where she'd been for six months. I've never attached to someone the say I did her the moment I walked in that room and now, all I want to do it protect her. It's going to take a long time to build her back up, physically and mentally, to the woman she was before this, but every fiber of my being wants to be the man who does that for her. The men that kidnapped and shattered her aren't going to let her go so easily though, and even if I hate her choices, if I don't respect them, I risk her hating me too—and then I'd lose her forever.

Dancin' with Demons

2020

He saved her, and she ran. He found her, and she won’t get away a second time. \- Renegade - One woman, and three years without her, is all it took for me to go from Jekyll to Hyde. Three years ago, we busted another club for kidnapping and raping girls. One of those girls was my President’s cousin. Another was Raylynn. Blindfolded, tied down, and beaten until there was hardly anything left, I freed her and wrapped her in my arms, knowing damn well she’d captured me, and I never wanted to let her go. Then, she disappeared . . . and took everything good about me with her. The road of self-destruction has been a chaotic one, and my President finally hit his breaking point with me. What’s supposed to be a relaxing vacation to the North Carolina coast ends up being me coming face-to-face with the beautiful redhead that’s haunted both my fantasies and nightmares for all these years. Raylynn has secrets of her own, but I’m not giving her a chance to run this time. She’s gonna face the music whether she likes it or not because I need her as my ol’ lady. It doesn’t matter what she’s been through—we’re perfect together. She’d see it if she’d just give us a chance. Raylynn thinks her darkness makes her unworthy, but I’m going to prove that nothing could be farther from the truth. Our demons aren’t our downfall. Together—they’re the perfect dance partners. Corrupting Innocence

2020

Catacomb I'm not one of those men who has ever needed a revolving door of women to make me happy. I'd had my fair share in my younger days, when I first became President of the Smoky Mountain Regulators MC. But, I always knew I wanted an ol' lady. The Queen to my King. My ride or die. And I found her. She literally tripped over a curb and fell into my arms. She was everything I needed . . . more than I could ever have asked for. Then a war with another club and a car fire took her from me. I may have got revenge on the men who killed her, but nothing heals the pain festering in my soul without her. Until I meet Layla. She's too young, too innocent, and too beautiful. For her twenty-first birthday, her friends rent the VIP section at the bar I frequent with my men, and I can't take my eyes off her. When her friends leave her alone and drunk, and some scum try to take advantage of her . . . she ends up in my arms and wakes up in my bed. No matter what I do, I can't stop thinking about her. I may not want another ol' lady but when those same men come for her again, I'll be damned if they're going to touch what's mine. And Layla is mine, whether she's ready to be or not.

Courtney grew up in Baltimore and is pretty sure she threw her ability to give a f**k into the Inner Harbor long before high school. Like almost every writer on the planet, she started writing at a very young age. Her “way with words” led to her being the go-to person for writing funeral speeches for a long time. For fourteen years she worked full-time as a paranormal investigator and demonologist until retiring in 2014. During that time, she had three children, earned a degree in Psychology, and eventually got back to writing. Today she lives in Middle Tennessee with her children and boyfriend, and spends the majority of her time writing things that make people smile while cutting their emotions deep, running her own professional editing company, and enjoying life .
