Lennon Aster has found her place in the world in the small town of Driftwood. After globetrotting with her two besties, she is thrilled to settle in the small mountain town where she can devote all her time to saving the earth. She believes in loving the world around you—something grouch face Locke Powers could stand to learn a little bit about. Lennon could teach him if he would come down off his mountain long enough to let her. Locke has been a lone wolf most of his life and he plans to keep it that way. Letting other people in just leads to being let down. No one sticks around and nothing lasts forever. But when mouthy Lennon starts aiming her sunshine smiles his way, he starts thinking about forever. Not that he believes a fancy girl like Lennon would ever settle down with a wild mountain man like him. When a snowstorm strands them both at his cabin, he decides he will take the time to convince her that even if he is a grumbly lumberjack, he could be her sunshine if she wanted.
