His already unusual mission becomes more complicated when he suddenly acquires an adorable StarDog that soon sweeps him and Adini into the maw of a brewing insurrection. Originally published as part of the popular, limited run 2016 Pets in Space anthology, this novelette is approximately 70 pages. UPDATE: According to the author, the book is no longer available via Instafreebie and will return expanded to novel length at a later date.
