Stephan Friedman
Author · 2 books
Stephan Friedman's stories first appeared in several supernatural and horror fiction anthologies published around the world. His debut collection of short stories and poems, Serpentine Supplications, was released in 2019 by Mount Abraxas Press. Born in 1976, Friedman had suffered an out-of-body experience at an early age, which provoked him to question the boundaries of reality and research all things mystical. For many years, he has been a student of the occult. Friedman was raised in the gloomy, enigmatic Ural Mountain region on eerie folktales and stories about his grandfather: a renowned anarchist who perished in the Russian Revolution. Later, he moved to Israel, where he lives with his wife, two children, and three cats. Apart from writing, he makes dark ambient and dark folk music.
