What are the holidays without a little Magic? For less than the price of one greeting card, treat yourself to these seven tales of holiday magic, Yuletide cheer, and feline hijinks from the Alastair Stone Chronicles urban fantasy series. Oh, and a little welcome payback for that creepy elf that spies on you from the shadows. • While delivering gifts for a colleague, Stone discovers a harmless holiday tradition harboring an evil force bent on stealing and enslaving children—and the magical power of homemade tamales. • Stone and his apprentice Verity, stopping at a remote diner to escape a snowstorm on Christmas Eve, save a lost child from a lonely ghost. • Eight-year-old Alastair, sad and disappointed when his father cancels their holiday plans, joins Aubrey for dinner at the village pub and learns a little bit about the meaning of Christmas. • A portal mishap switches Stone’s brain with Raider the cat’s. Can he set things right with some magical assistance from a snarky mouse and a holiday favorite? • Nineteen-year-old Stone isn’t feeling very festive during the holiday following his father’s death. But when he meets another father with a big problem, maybe helping out with a bit of magic might be just what he needs. • When Stone visits his Forgotten friends to deliver some Christmas gifts, the power of the Winter Solstice helps him save an innocent life. • Stone spends a lot of time summoning things—but what happens if someone summons him for a dangerous, holiday-related task? • Stone and small children usually go together like oil and water, but when an unexpected emergency leaves Stone alone with Jason and Amber's four-year-old daughter in a snowy, remote cabin, he proves there's nothing he won't do to keep her safe. Pull up a chair and your beverage of choice and enjoy these Yuletide tales from the world of the Amazon-bestselling series!

R. L. King is the author of the Amazon-bestselling urban fantasy series The Alastair Stone Chronicles. She also freelances for Catalyst Game Labs, publisher of the popular roleplaying game Shadowrun, where she's contributed fiction and game material to numerous sourcebooks and one full-length adventure, "On the Run," which was included as part of the 2012 Origins-Award-winning "Runners' Toolkit." Her first novel in the Shadowrun universe, "Borrowed Time," was published in Spring 2015. She's working on her second Shadowrun novel, "Veiled Extraction," which will be released in late 2016 or early 2017. When not writing or working, she enjoys hanging out with her very understanding spouse and her small herd of cats, and watching way too much Doctor Who.
