The two old-timers were young men that had spent the last two years in that uncharted territory and had taken women from the Shoshone people as their brides. But their long-held dream and goal was to discover and explore the vast lands of the western wilderness and they set out to do just that. But when renegade Coureur des bois of the Hudson’s Bay Company and trappers of the Northwest company decide to abandon the fur companies and seek their fortune by raiding the native villages, the two young friends and their women stand in their way. But the raiders and their renegade Indian scouts will not be dissuaded and set out to pillage and rampage their way through the lands of the Assiniboine, Crow, and Shoshone, letting nothing or no one stand in their way. Even the two men, experienced in the wilderness though they were, would they be a match for a much larger band of raiders and renegades?
