Charles’s adventures take him across America and across the Atlantic in this episode of Charles’ life. Charles struggles to set up a Clydesdale breeding farm with the right people to manage it. Charles struggles with the new Nashville farm, and tangles with a young deputy sheriff while eating breakfast. Charles needs to travel to England to check on his businesses, yet he has a hard time finding someone to travel with him. Charles convinces his railroad construction manager, Darren, to travel with him and just as they are planning to leave Charles gets a message that his Cheyenne ranch manger was shot by a poacher butchering one of his yearling calves. Charles travels to Denver and asks his blood-brother, Gray Wolf, to travel with him to find the assassin. Charles eventually travels to England with Darren and on the return trip from France with a ship load of Champagne grape plants, Darren sees a young lady and falls in love at first sight. The only problem is that the girl only speaks French and Spanish, and Darren only speaks English.
