Essay. Translated from the Italian by Giovanna Bellesia and Victoria Offredi Poletto, this book collects some shorter essays and commentaries, as well as the longer Letter on Abortion. Mariaini's concerns, as always, revolve around women, the body, rape, motherhood—a feminism full of thought, dignity, metaphorical sweep, and a questioning intensity.
