When I saw Wren for the first time I thought she was beautiful. But I also thought she's a terrible boxer. She says it's to lose weight but she's perfect so that's not it. I can tell she's hiding something and it scares the hell out of her. But when I find her knocked out in an alley, I know there's something going on and I know I have to protect her. She's mine. I can't believe I fell so hard, so fast but she's it for me. Now all I have to do is convince her that we belong together and stop the threat to her. No problem! I don't want to put anyone else in danger. I asked my friend, also my editor to help me and somehow my stalker figured it out but shot her as a warning to me. I can't stand the thought of someone else being injured on my behalf. And even though Stryker says that's not going to happen, I can't shake the fear. But when he saves me, it's hard to keep pushing him away when all I want to do is pull him closer.
