Five Sunsets

2022

One Greek island. Two broken hearts. Three little words. Four meddling family members. Five Sunsets. ...One happy ever after? Newly divorced and jobless, Jenna Forester has come to the luxury resort her brother manages on the Greek island of Crete to multi-task running away from it all with also getting a tan. Out here she can forget how much she misses her work as a sex and relationships columnist. Out here she can forget how much she craves the good sex that was lacking in her marriage for so long. Out here she can maybe try and decide what she's going to do for work now she's so poorly qualified to do the job she loves. There's sunshine, there's her stack of erotic romance novels, and there's... Irishman Aiden "Marty" O'Martin, a man thirteen years her junior who could potentially solve one of her problems; the absence of back-breaking, bone-shaking, deliciously hot sex. He is the ultimate holiday fling and she's not at all mad about it. But trainee chef and college dropout Marty is not looking for sex. In fact, he's deliberately trying to avoid it after the year he's had. Marty's also trying to get his life back on track. He still doesn't know how he'll get over what happened, but a free holiday may help. Even if it means waking up at the arse-crack of dawn everyday so his father can drag him around Crete on a racing bike. Even if it means his Ma is there – always there! – wanting to put sun cream on his back and a self-help book in his hands. Even if it means risking Carpal tunnel from holding his sister's phone as she records hours of social media content for her hundreds of thousands of followers. However, when Marty sees Jenna's freckled skin glow in the sunset, everything changes. He feels something and it's not just acid reflux from one too many sugary mocktails. It's a spark, it's curiosity, it's hope. But they only have five sunsets together. How are they going to make them count?

Christmas Sunrise

2022

'Tis the season to be jolly, and that's exactly how Marty feels when he wakes up on Christmas Eve with Jenna's mouth at work under the covers like all the mistletoe in the world is hiding in his boxers. He's got Jenna, he's hosting Christmas lunch for his family - although his ma is bringing not one, but four desserts.... and a cheeseboard - and Jenna's brother Jake is flying over from London. It's going to be the most special first Christmas in their home together, not least because they have everything they've ever wanted. Sure, a baby would be nice, but as much as that pains him, Marty tells himself that's possibly asking too much. Because it is, right? If Jenna is so content about not getting pregnant yet, shouldn't he be the same? Not everything is so merry and bright for Jenna as she realises she'll be seeing in another year with their much-wanted baby still not a reality. While the disappointment is always there, threatening to burst the bubble of happiness she and Marty live in, she's determined not to let it get to her, or rather, to not let it become apparent to Marty. That's why she's got him a surprise gift that she knows will show how much she loves him and how she hopes that's enough... because what if they never have that baby they so desperately want? What if all Jenna's future Christmases are going to feel this empty? Is it even Christmas if you haven't had an illicit liaison with a stranger? This is what Jake is pondering after some mile high antics on his way to Dublin, but while his sister and her partner aren't as impressed as he would like, he's not going to let that dampen his Christmas spirits. No, there's already a long list of things waiting to do that. The fact he's 39 and single. The fact his own father didn't invite him to spend Christmas with him. The fact he is still mourning the loss of a good friend because of... yes, another illicit liaison with a stranger. So when another stranger accosts him in a Dublin pub on Christmas Eve, what's a man to do? Another illicit liaison? Or an opportunity to change his ways? As for Maeve, Marty's younger sister, Christmas is finally a time to stop and catch her breath after another whirlwind year being one of Ireland's most successful influencers, and spending Christmas Eve in the pub with her best friend, Arabella, should be something to look forward to, not something that has Maeve's stomach churning with nerves. Because Maeve has been having some strange thoughts recently... about herself, and about Arabella and about the shape of their friendship. So when she spots mistletoe hanging up in the corner of the pub, she takes a chance. But will Maeve get her Christmas miracle? Or will this be what turns her into the Grinch for good? \Christmas Sunrise is a spicy Christmas novella that takes place six months after Five Sunsets ends and approximately five months before The Moon Also Rises. It's strongly advised you read Five Sunsets before reading Christmas Sunrise, but it's not necessary to read this book before the others in the series, although it does set up both Jake's and Maeve's books.\

The Moon Also Rises

2022

Jake Forester is a bitch and he'd be the first person to tell you that. Life's too short, and far too stressful, to be nice... unless you're a customer at one of the luxury hotels he manages. But he's currently a bitch in desperate need because his ex-boyfriend, no, ex-hook-up, also no, ex-lover - not great, but fine - is about to get married and there's no way he's showing up to that wedding without looking like he's madly in love and completely over what happened. Yet none of his friends are stepping up, so that leaves him with the last person he wants to ask. Rami Kazimi is so desperate for friends he'll apparently offer to be a stranger's date for a wedding. And not just a date, but a fake boyfriend, and not just for a stranger, but for his new colleague whose office he has to share, something that's proving quite a challenge. But despite emerging from the toughest few years of his life, Rami is trying to be optimistic. He hopes being Jake's fake boyfriend will help ease tension in the office and maybe make a friend out of Jake Forester who may pout far too much and has a near constant slagging match with his assistant, but he is also undeniably hilarious and sometimes kind of cute when he comes undone. Who can say if it's the full moon on the night of the wedding, or whether love is simply in the air, but something happens that night in the moonlit gardens of an English stately home that changes both Rami and Jake. And after that night, there's a very different kind of tension in their office, one that neither of them can ignore, one that keeps pulling them closer and closer together... their hearts, their bodies, and their deepest, darkest secrets.
