Prior to writing her first fiction only a few years ago, Dee S. Knight lived a varied lifestyle. After college she married her high school sweetheart and they became house parents at a home for wards of the court. Thus, she went from newlywed to "mother" of a dozen teenage boys, in a month. Two years of living in one city proved to be enough, and she and her husband spent the next eight years as long-distance truckers. Swiftly following their trucking years, she became a computer consultant, high school and adult ed teacher, technical writer and novelist. More than thirty years later, she's still married to her own hero and finds life infinitely interesting. They currently reside in the Midwest. Throughout my life, I’ve always been an avid reader. Reading fed my need to dream and fantasize about what could be. As a latchkey kid I’d spend hours at the library earning those shiny stars the librarian would paste up on the board after my name. I credit my grandmother’s yearly visits as the beginning of my obsession with romances. When she’d come, she’d bring stacks of romance books, the old fashioned kind that didn’t have sex in them. Imagine my shock when I went to the used bookstore and found out what really could be in a romance novel. I’ve been writing stories for years and have found a particular love of erotic romances. In this genre, women are no longer confined to a stereotype and plots are no longer constrained to the rational. I love the anything goes mentality and letting my imagination run wild. I hope you enjoyed running with me and will consider picking up another book and coming along for another adventure.

From Amber Cartlton's Website: Amber Carlton’s Story Once upon a time there was a little girl who loved to read and watch stories. One weekend she sat in the theater for two days and watched Anne of the Thousand Days thirteen times. She was enthralled with the charisma and charm of Anne Boleyn as she took on a kingdom and its king. She had never in her wildest dreams thought a woman could be that beautiful, feisty and elegant all at the same time. Granted, poor Anne came to a bad end, but the little girl wondered if that always had to be the outcome. She and her sister sat down to write their own novels and decided their books would not end with the death of such an interesting woman. She would triumph! They didn’t get very far before they realized they knew nothing about writing and it was hard work. After one paragraph, they gave up. Being a kid was a lot more fun, so they went off to play kickball. But the love of a good story continued to haunt the young girl. She wanted a feisty heroine that didn’t lose her head and a man that recognized what he held in his grasp. She went on a quest, knowing there had to be stories out there. She browsed endless shelves of books on endless trips to the mall, searching for something unknown, until one memorable day. The beautiful woman on the cover of the book gazed back with something the girl didn’t quite understand. Her blond hair haloed her face and a soft smile touched her lips. The girl was mesmerized, glanced around, and pulled the book from the shelf knowing it was probably not a book her mother would approve. She knew it was a grownup book by the look in those emerald eyes. She bought it anyway and read it in secret, hiding it in her locked trunk and pulling it out at night. The Passionate Adventures of Angelique offered everything the girl had been searching for—a beautiful, intelligent heroine, a man with mysterious secrets, lost love, the scandal of witchcraft, the theft of power and position, a sense of history. She read the entire series, then ached to move on to the books holding the characters referenced on the covers of the series—Fanny Hill, Amber St. Clair, Scarlett O’Hara. The problem was this all happened in the days before the internet and the girl had no idea what books those characters were in. She was forced to admit her secret and ask her mother. She got a surprise. Her mother knew these characters because she had read all the books and she had others to share! A wonderful relationship of discussions and ideas blossomed and the girl found herself drawn into the many worlds of grownup books. Frantically she moved on to Kathleen Woodiwiss, Rosemary Rogers, Patricia Matthews, then to Jude Devereaux, Nora Roberts and so many others it became hard to count until finally… The girl, who was now a woman, thought she might write one of her own. Amber Carlton was born. She stole her name from Forever Amber because she knew she couldn’t possibly pull off being French. Amber still loves romances that have a touch of history, that hold feisty and memorable women and the men they tame, and these are the kinds of books she likes to write. She is fascinated with history, particularly English and early American, and enjoys living in these times while she creates her worlds. Some of the worlds you may recognize, some are filled with things that go bump in the night. All of them are guaranteed to hold the promise of love. Welcome to Amber’s world of erotic, historical and paranormal romance. She hopes you enjoy your stay.

About Me I believes the only thing sexier than a man in cowboy boots is two, or three men in cowboy boots. I also believes in love at first sight, soul mates, true love, and happy endings. I live in the great Northwest region of the USA, with my gorgeous husband and soul mate, two boxer/collie puppies, one old biddy cats, and three fish. When I'm not being a mother to my six teenagers or cleaning up after my two 70 pound lap puppies, you can usually find me cuddled in bed with a book in my hand and a puppy in my lap. Or on my laptop, creating the next sexy man for one of my stories. I welcomes comments from readers, so drop me a line. stormyglenn@hotmail.com What do I do ? I'm a writer of erotic, paranormal, werewolf, futuristic, contemporary, gay, and Ménage a Trois romances. I'm currently published with Siren Publishing, Torquere Press, and Noble Ellora's Cave.

Raised in an Air Force family, Raina lived in such diverse places as Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Gander, Newfoundland, before leaving the nest and settling down near Ottawa, Ontario. Some skepticism about the earning value of an English degree made Raina turn to a career in journalism. While almost two decades in newspapers in Canada's capital has made her revise that opinion, there's still no thrill quite like getting the paper to press on a heavy news day with an early deadline. At home, when not riding herd on her four children—two girls and two boys—or trying to squeeze in some writing time, Raina can most often be found reading the work of her favourite authors, new and old. Raina is a great believer in happy endings, as anyone who reads her work will attest. After all, what's the point of writing fiction if you can't put a little joy in people's lives? After turning in her twelfth manuscript, she came to the realization that this writing gig might just work out after all. She continues to dream up stories, keeping no less than ten story ideas circulating at any given time.
