Maureen Lang Maureen Lang has always had a passion for writing. She wrote her first novel longhand around the age of 10, put the pages into a notebook she had covered with soft deerskin (nothing but the best!), then passed it around the neighborhood to rave reviews. It was so much fun she's been writing ever since. Most of her books are historical, with an emphasis on faith and romance.

I'm a wife, mother, and bona fide Southern belle. Published author, expert corn bread maker, and Squirrel Princess. I live in Tulsa, though I was born in Mississippi. I moved to the Sooner State when I was seventeen and met my soul mate and best friend not long after. I've retained a little of my Mississippi accent though most people think I'm from Texas. (?) Rob and I have been married for over twenty years and have a son—a mom proclaimed prodigy, of course! I love homemade tacos, nail polish, and romance novels—not necessarily in that order. I'm a big fan of country music, a staunch proponent of saving the Oxford comma, and I'm shamefully obsessed with all things Harry Potter. I believe that God is love. I guess that's why I adore romances. I have always been intrigued with the Amish culture, their gentle ways and slower-paced lifestyle. (And I love, love, love the fact that they stay married for their lifetime.) But until recently I never thought to blend this interest with my penchant for romance. Okay, okay, I'm a bit old-fashioned and even enjoy the gender roles that are present in this culture. I love to cook and take care of my family. Yes, that's me June Cleaver with a laptop. I dislike people trying to convince me to read the Twlight series (I'll get to it or I won't, either way I'm good with it), gratuitous violence, and strawberry ice cream. (I know I'm alone on this last one, and again, I'm good with it.) Favorite movies—(besides HP) French Kiss, Maid of Honor, A Lot Like Love, Just Married, and Sweet Home Alabama. Oh, and Miss Congeniality, Sabrina (both versions) and a 1940's movie called Dear Ruth. If you haven't seen it, you should! A-dorable. Anything with Doris Day and most all of Marilyn's and Audrey's.

CBA Bestselling author PAM HILLMAN was born and raised on a dairy farm in Mississippi and spent her teenage years perched on the seat of a tractor raking hay. In those days, her daddy couldn't afford two cab tractors with air conditioning and a radio, so Pam drove an Allis Chalmers 110. Even when her daddy asked her if she wanted to bale hay, she told him she didn't mind raking. Raking hay doesn't take much thought so Pam spent her time working on her tan and making up stories in her head. Now, that's the kind of life every girl should dream of. www.pamhillman.com
Amanda Cabot
Amanda Cabot
Author · 23 books
With both parents avid readers, it's no surprise that Amanda Cabot learned to read at an early age. From there it was only a small step to deciding to become a writer. Of course, deciding and becoming are two different things, as she soon discovered. Fortunately for the world, her first attempts at fiction were not published, but she did meet her goal of selling a novel by her thirtieth birthday. Since then she’s sold more than forty novels. When she’s not writing, Amanda enjoys sewing, cooking and – of course – reading.

ABOUT MY BOOK REVIEWS IF NO STARS, it means I know the author, so, on principle I do not review unless I absolutely adore the book—and I will tell you why. ONE STAR means I didn't like the book. FIVE STARS are rare . . . BIO “Tell me a story,” has been my question since birth. Since I love them so much, what better way to share the fun and interesting things I've learned than in writing stories myself? I'm a “retired” Navy wife who has lived all over the United States and even Hawai’i. Raised in San Pedro, California, a melting pot of many languages and cultures, I've traveled the world meeting people and laughing my way through ridiculous circumstances. I love history, music, books, reading, my terrific family, amusing friends, travel opportunities and irony. A New York Times and ECPA bestselling author of five novellas and a Navy SEAL novel, in 2017 I'm the biographer of Mrs. Oswald Chambers and essayist in Utmost Ongoing: Reflections on the Legacy of Oswald Chambers. IN 2018, I published A Poppy in Remembrance, a World War I coming-of-age story. You can learn more about me, my books, thoughts, stories and ideas at my website: www.michelleule.com Note to readers: As part of my job as editorial assistant, I've been asked not to review books represented by Books & Such Literary Agency, though I can include them in my "read" list.
