The Adolescent presents a model of a young "student" character, with his hopes and fantasies about life, wealth and love, and describes the feelings of love and hatred, recognition and denial experienced by a teenager towards his parents, family and surroundings. Dostoyevsky traces the conflicts that Arcadi has experienced in his family and life situations, which he seeks to rebel against. He sets out to become rich in Crutchfield, denies his family, which he considers to be his own, and seeks relations with the rich and princes. Through these figures, Dostoevsky presents rich human models, revealing their own whims and whims as well as their beauty and beauty. "You dream of a life that is loud, you dream of burning, I do not know what, and torn, I do not know what, to transcend all Russia, to pass a bright cloud, to sink the whole world in fear and admiration, so I think it is useful to warn you because I bring you passion Honest. " This is a teenager as Dostoevsky describes it in his father's words.

Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky was a Russian novelist, short story writer, essayist, and journalist. His literary works explore human psychology in the troubled political, social, and spiritual atmospheres of 19th-century Russia, and engage with a variety of philosophical and religious themes. His most acclaimed novels include Crime and Punishment (1866), The Idiot (1869), Demons (1872), and The Brothers Karamazov (1880). Many literary critics rate him as one of the greatest novelists in all of world literature, as multiple of his works are considered highly influential masterpieces. His 1864 novella Notes from Underground is considered to be one of the first works of existentialist literature. As such, he is also looked upon as a philosopher and theologian as well.
