Jenny Jones was born in Norfolk in 1954 and brought up in Shropshire. She studied Painting in Florence and at Shrewsbury and Farnham Art Schools. She has taken part in Television programmes on painting, and represented Wales at the Inter-Celtic Festival in Brittany. Jenny now lives in Mid-Wales where she makes her living painting and has regular exhibitions of her work. Since 1998, she has also illustrated a number of children’s books. She has won prizes for drawing and painting in England and Wales, and has had paintings in both the 2006 and 2008 biennial Wales Portrait Award exhibitions.
