Tenley Scott is a single mother and owner of Soup du Jour. She’s full of nervous excitement for her date with Colin, the handsome Brit who’s been hanging around the café. She’s expecting casual conversation over drinks. Maybe dinner. A kiss goodnight? The date starts awkward but Colin is sweet and really cute and Tenley thinks there’s potential for this to be the best date ever. And then she finds out Colin is a spy. And he’s got information that the NIIA desperately need – the lost memories of Charlotte Dodd. Her date is quickly hijacked when the bad guys get hold of Charlotte’s memories. Tenley ends up in the middle of fistfights, car chases and a kidnapping which is far from the polite getting-to-know conversation with Colin she hoped for. Her best date is becoming one of the worst ever and teaches her more about the life of spies than she ever wanted to know.
