The competition over, Nymea Blut and her guard are back to real life, with a new objective. Queen Verity has decreed that Blutfeuer, Nymea’s family wineries and distilleries, branch out into the human realm, in order to bring more revenue into their new vision of Faerie. Nymea is ready and able, though she is going forward grudgingly. A new guard and a mystery to solve. With Blutfeuer under fire, Nymea’s worries are not unfounded, and she needs to figure out just what Kendarla’s issues and plans are before someone gets hurt...namely someone from her Court. But with her enemies largely quiet, she's afraid of falling into a false sense of security. Nymea and the guys are up to their ears in supposition, and with a new guard in the mix they all need to find where everyone fits. And as with any new addition, the aftermath of a bonding might prove more interesting than ever before. Because Nymea has a full guard now, something that hasn’t happened in recent memory. Things are changing, and the Blood Court with it. But Kendarla and her supporters are not finished with Nymea, and they kick it up a knotch.

The final installment of The Blood Court series, has both redemption and heartache. With Nymea kidnapped, Ryker and the guard have to enlist help from the other courts, making finding her a full on operation. And when she is found, the process of healing must begin. Because Mea has lost her fire, and she needs to bond once more to the men that would give their lives for her.
