Part of Series

The problem with an open-and-shut murder case is that sometimes, you can’t shut the case fast enough before something weird gets out… The autumn equinox should be about balance, reflection, and an ordering of one’s life. Celebration, harvest, and completion. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Not for Bron, a traditional Welsh hedge witch. The only thing she’s harvesting is trouble. The recent tragic killing of a local woman is apparently quickly solved, only to spiral out of control when the magic behind her life continues to leak out into this world. The killer flees to the land of the Fair Folk and only Maddie has the skills to follow – but only Bron can bring them to justice. Meanwhile Great Aunt Dilys seems to be collecting newspapers, Sian is the victim of ongoing sabotage, and Bron’s desperately trying to pretend that Adam is nothing more than a good friend. Sometimes you have to lose someone to appreciate what you had. And then it’s too late. Too late? At the equinox, even time is flexible…
