The continuing adventures in "The Stirling Family Saga" are filled with action, adventure, drama, gunplay, and a story of epic proportions. There are huge ramifications for U.S. Marshal Jake Timber that involve the Stirling Family's past and present. While on the hunt for the outlaws who escaped after the Guadalupe kidnapping, Timber finds a woman on the trail. She claims that a group of renegade Comanche has taken her thirteen-year-old son. Timber doesn't know who this woman is, but some members of the Stirling family will know her from fifteen years prior. Timber helps the woman, and when he finds the Comanche, there is more than just the boy who is being held captive. Also, the woman's son isn't quite what Timber was expecting. In San Antonio, Tobias Stirling's son, Ryder, a lawyer, is contacted by a young woman who wants a divorce from her cruel husband, and the past comes back to haunt once more. Deacon Robinson and Grace Stirling board a train to take them to Bryson Standish's pregnant daughter. As the train departs, Deacon recognizes a young woman on the train that he didn't expect to see. Everything is not as it appears for either Timber, Ryder Stirling, or Deacon Robinson. And if that isn't enough, when Tobias Stirling and his nephew, Richie, try to sell a herd of cattle after a cattle drive, they encounter a man from Missouri and Tobias' past.
