Christmas was always a special time for Aaron Blake's parents, even into their retirement years. Losing his mother right at the start of the season was hard for Aaron and his sister, but even more so for their father, who entered a deep depression. When Aaron breaks one of the pieces of the family's Christmas village while helping decorate, his father becomes even more withdrawn, and Aaron has no idea how to help him. Maybe replacing that piece would be a good start. O Little Town of Bethlehem, a shop in the Candy Cane Lane Christmas Mall, carries just about every sort of village piece and nativity imaginable. Cassie Bradley, the owner, is dedicated to helping each customer find exactly what they want. When she gets a panicked phone call from a man looking for an obscure village church from the eighties, she's able to help him find what he's looking for - not only a special Christmas gift for his father, but healing for their hearts.
