Wrath of the Royals

2009

“Do as they say or die in the dungeons,” the poor storekeepers would say. “Do as they say or disappear,” the commoners would warn. But Venir and Melegal could not have cared less what anyone had to say. They had been this way since their childhood. As the underlings rally all of the evil forces they can muster to destroy the mystical and legendary Darkslayer, something unexpected has upset the delicate balance between good and evil on the world called Bish, making the Darkslayer a pawn in other insidious disputes. Strife and turmoil are constant features of life as humans struggle to survive among a wide array of creatures, including orcs, ogres, and the most evil of all—the underlings. When recklessness provokes a Royal household, Venir is forced to flee the city, along with his comrade, the skinny thief Melegal. The Royals and underlings soon unleash some unusual powers against him and start to close in. Facing the final showdown, nothing unfolds as it should.

Blades in the Night

2011

After tasting defeat at the hands of the mythic Darkslayer, the underling Lords Catten and Verbard are determined to once and for all eliminate this thorn in their side. But they’ll have to wait their turn. After a brutal trip through the Outlands, the brash warrior Venir, aka the Darkslayer, returns to the City of Bone. He quickly has his hands full looking out for his young friends Lefty and Georgio, while also trying to score some easy coin with his old ally Melegal the thief. Along the way, Venir faces threats from the Royal houses of Bone, man-urchins, Shadow Sentries, and two dark figures that he’d left for dead once before. Venir leaves Bone behind, only to run into Jarla, Queen of the Brigands, an old flame who wants him dead. Soon after that the real horror begins, as Catten and Verbard emerge and unleash their worst in the hopes of finally killing the Darkslayer. The Darkslayer Sword and Sorcery series is an epic adventure set in an ingeniously imagined world where bored immortals play with the lives and fates of the unsuspecting beings inhabiting it.

#1 Amazon Best Seller Epic Fantasy and Sword & Sorcery! Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind fantasy adventure! The bestselling Darkslayer series is a 650,000 word romp through the wastelands of Bish. It features an eye-popping artwork gallery of the villain's and heroes. Fans Tolkiens epic heroes, the likes of R.A. Salvatore's-Drizzt Do' Urden, Frizt Leiber's Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser, David Gemmell's Druss the Legend, Raymond E. Feist's Pug the Wizard, and Robert E. Howard's Conan, delight in The Darkslayer series ... perhaps you will as well. Bish is the land of constant strife and turmoil created by Trinos, a bored immortal. The rise and fall of the blazing suns make the days long and the people disagreeable. Its barren Outlands are as comforting as a bed of thorns as there is little sanctuary to be found in the sweltering forests or the dank caves below the ground. Its caviling cities are overrun with death, greed and corruption, but few complain. It is a place where tempers flare and alliances last as long as a tankard of ale. It is a place where the women are as beautiful as they are scarred and deranged. A place where good doesn't thrive, it endures. It is the land of fight or die. Enter Venir the incorrigible, a fierce warrior, who has been secretly keeping the underling forces at bay for years. He is the Darkslayer, a man possessed by a mantle of power he cannot let go. Enter Melegal the resilient, a crafty rogue, and Venir's reluctant shadow. Enter the underlings, a purely evil race of sadistic killers bent on the destruction of mankind. Enter the humans, a greedy, self-absorbed race of shameless survivors. Enter the orcs, halfling's, dwarves, ogres and other races, some good, some bad, all caught in the maelstrom of treachery and seduction. How will they survive to fight another day? Only Bish knows.
