The Coming of the Prophet

2015

From International Bestselling Author, Saxon Andrew, comes a new series, The Death Prophecies. The first book is The Coming of the Prophet. A strange alien calling himself the Prophet has appeared in orbit above Earth and the planet’s most powerful weapons have proved useless against his ship’s defenses. To make matters worse, the Prophet tells mankind that Earth will soon be invaded and destroyed if the nations don’t learn how to live in peace and start building to meet the coming enemy. Failure to change humanity’s warlike ways will lead to its destruction. This Death Prophecy isn’t initially believed but when the Prophet starts sending a series of recordings of planets conquered by the Traugh, mankind is forced to reevaluate how to live together. The Death Prophecy appears to be real and inescapable. Humanity has never been able to live in peace and time is running out. Mankind turns to the only human the Prophet has declared sane but he refuses the role being forced on him. Will he make the difference? First, he has to believe he can. Excerpt: The Coming of the Prophet Col. Brighton looked up at the young officer standing at the door to his office, “Yes, Captain.” “I’ve received word from the head scientists operating the Mount Graham, Lick Observatory, Palomar, and the Hawaii Observatory that they have discovered something they feel we should be aware of. “What is that?” “Something located about three thousand miles above Earth in stationary orbit is blocking the view of stars behind it.” Col. Brighton stared at Captain Connor and his eyes narrowed, “I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying, Captain. Isn’t it impossible for something to remain in stationary orbit without being pulled in by Earth’s gravity?” “Whatever it is, Earth’s gravity is not having any effect on it.” Connor opened a folder and began laying photographic images on the Colonel’s desk. Tony looked at the images and shook his head slightly, “What am I looking for?” Essay took another folder and began placing other photos above each of the ones he first put on the desk, “The top row is what the sky looked like five months ago when the telescopes looked at that place above Earth. The bottom row is the same image taken over the last four months.” Tony looked from the top row to the bottom as he moved across the rows of images. He looked up and said, “There is a black shadow or something that is blocking the stars behind it in the bottom row of images.” Connor nodded. “What could be causing this?” Connor blew out a breath and said, “It’s not a natural phenomenon.” “Why not?” “It doesn’t reflect any light from the planet and it remains pitch black in every image. Something is blocking light from being reflected or coming through it.” “Have they been able to determine its size?” “Six hundred feet long and about a hundred feet wide.” Tony stared at Connor with wide eyes and stared at the two rows of pictures. He picked up the telephone on his desk. He pressed a three-digit code and after a moment started speaking, “Admiral, I have evidence that there is something above the planet that is a possible danger to us.” After a moment, Tony said, “I’ll be there momentarily. I’m bringing the officer that brought this information to me.” Tony hung up and said, “Let’s go.” Kam stared at his scanner’s images and leaned back in his command chair on the large Traugh Warship as he listened to the exchange.

The Prophet's Eyes

2015

From the international bestselling author Saxon Andrew, comes the second book in the Death Prophecies series. Earth and the Bosrean have managed to hide from the Traugh Empire by deceiving them into believing that the ship that destroyed their Governing Planet came from the Andromeda Galaxy. The Traugh are now ready to go and find the enemy in Andromeda and they send two major fleets to find and destroy the civilization that caused so much destruction. However, what they discover will not only put their empire at risk but also put Earth and Bosrean in danger of being found and destroyed by a new threat. The Prophet has gone home and the only thing that stands between Earth and destruction is an invisible warship that was built for the Prophet and named the Prophet’s Eyes. Hiding is no longer an option and the number of warships threating the Milky Way is beyond comprehension and sitting in the middle of Andromeda is a Darkness that threatens all life in both galaxies. The action continues and the only possible salvation must come from what the Prophet’s Eyes can do to stop this new enemy. Following the Death Prophecies may not be an option and Earth may be forced to violate the first Death Prophecy to save the two planets. Excerpt from the Prophet’s Eyes: Groh was getting the communication links downloaded into his ship’s database when he heard his communication Leader say, “I have a call from one of the Mororat Dictators.” “Send it to my chair. He saw the button start flashing and he pressed it, “Groh, I’ve been thinking about what you said during the meeting.” “I said a lot. Is there anything in particular?” “You mentioned going out to find any possible threats in that spiral galaxy.” “I did.” Well, my family and I were discussing that and the younger Director said something that made me start thinking about doing that.” “What did he say?” “He laughed and said, ‘What if that galaxy we’re about to attack also has a darkness at the core. It will probably come out and kill everything including our fleets.” Groh’s heart almost stopped. The Mororat tilted it head, which Groh would have wagered was an impossible move for his species, “Would it stop there or follow our ships back to the halo and punish us for violating its space?” “That is a scary thought.” “I know.” Groh shook his head, “I’m contacting the others and telling them what you just told me. We will destroy that civilization and leave. We could make the same mistake not knowing what’s going on in that galaxy.” “I agree with your decision. I think I might be able to sleep again now.” The display went dark and Groh wondered if he would sleep after this conversation, the possibility was terrifying. No Technology is Invincible

2016

The fourth book in the Death Prophecies finds Humanity struggling to determine how to handle the increasing number of aggressive civilizations bent on its destruction. The Good old days of just having the Traugh to deal with are gone and the four new threats make the Traugh look like a picnic in the park. It all starts with a brilliant Cadet at the Academy revealing that the time the Senior Admirals thought they had to build the weapons they would need against the coming threats isn’t there. The Builders and Black Fleets will be arriving far faster than anticipated and Earth’s Fleets are not prepared to meet them. And if that’s not enough, finding out that friends can be your worse enemy complicates the situation to the point where Earth’s Military is frozen and unable to do anything. The only chance of survival is to revert back to hiding from Earth’s enemies and work against time to develop the weapons that can give humans a chance against the more advanced aggressors moving toward the the Milky Way. To make matters worse, Earth’s best Admiral is forced to deal with a loss he never saw coming and appears not to up to the task of leading mankind out of the darkness facing it. The twists and turns will keep you guessing and the action doesn’t slow down. Excerpt: No Technology is Invincible “Gabe, I don’t have much time. The Darkness towers have arrived and are closing the black hole as I’m recording this message. I’ve included a recording of the conversation that Admiral Connor had with Levi and that will clarify what’s going on. We’ve been ordered away from the black hole. You are in my prayers and I’m so sorry.” Gabe listened to the message and looked at Gabby, “Put Admiral Connor’s conversation on the main monitor.” He leaned back and listened to what was said and after it ended he leaned back in his chair and started tapping his foot. Gabby looked at him, “We’re trapped here.” Ali shrugged, “I must say that you military types lead a very exciting life.” Gabby looked at him, “You’re trapped here as well!” Ali shrugged and Gabe looked at them, “Admiral Connor had no choice but to back off.” Gabby was clearly upset, “WHY?!” Gabe pointed at the plaque over the main monitor, “Death Prophecy number one says that no enemy should be confronted until it is absolutely unavoidable. He had to consider the risk to millions of our warships against the loss of a single ship…ours.” “YOU COULD AT LEAST PRETEND YOU’RE ANGRY!” “I’m furious more than you can guess, Gabby, but I would have done the same thing if I were in his place. However, we are going to complete our mission.” “Why?” “Because that’s our purpose in being here. We’re just not going to have the support of our fleets to protect us. Poul, we no longer have a time restriction on doing this. The black hole is closed so let’s think about our situation. Are you sure you thought of every possible place where one of your ancient warships might be located?”

The Last Prophecy

2016

Saxon Andrew’s The Last Prophecy is the final book in the Death Prophecies Series. Humanity is facing the most dangerous civilization to ever threaten it. One-by-one the other would be conquers have been defeated or have fled the giant Flasher Warships. The Colonies have developed new technology to confront the giant warships on an equal footing but the number of advanced warships using it are pitifully few against the vast fleets facing them. And the Flashers intend to quickly use their huge advantage in numbers to find the Colonies’ Fleet and eliminate it. Scott and Amy Hart have retired from the military and have left the colonies to spend their retirement years on Earth. Amy is unaware that three major Flasher War Fleets have been dispatched to attack Earth in the hopes of drawing the Colony Fleet out of hiding; the Flashers intend to trap it in a deadly crossfire above Earth. The Colonies only have a few thousand advanced warships to stop the orbital bombardment and Admiral Connor knows they aren’t enough. But he just can't stand by and watch Earth die. The Last Prophecy starts fast and picks up speed moving toward a climax of epic proportions. Time is working against humanity and there doesn’t appear to be much hope of surviving the coming Flasher invasion. Earth is going to be attacked and Admiral Amy Hart and Scott are on the planet’s surface. Timmy Hart is determined to prevent his mother’s death no matter the cost. The consequences of that decision will be devastating. Excerpt: The Last Prophecy Scott and Amy were staring at him from the boat next to the entry port, “GET ON BOARD…NOW!!” Amy’s eyes were narrow as she said, “What’s going on Timmy, we have to put the boat away and…” “SHUT UP AND GET ON BOARD!!!” Timmy screamed. The boat was right next to the open port and Amy started to speak again but Timmy grabbed the handle next to the port, reached out and grabbed his mother by the front of her shirt, and snatched her into the port. He extended his hand and Scott grabbed it and jumped into the port. Timmy slammed the port shut and ran to the command chair. Tim had thrown his mother into the port and she landed on the floor and slid six feet, “TIMMY!!!” Timmy buckled into the command chair and yelled as he gripped the controls of the Attack Fighter, “BUCKLE IN TIGHT!!” He activated the lower bow thruster and the nose of the Attack Fighter lifted and went vertical. Scott lifted Amy off the floor and walked her to one of the chairs as she was screaming at Timmy. He went to the other chair and started pulling the belts around him as Amy continued to yell at her son. Suddenly, a brilliant light lit up the inside of the Attack Fighter as a mile wide, brilliant, red beam came out of the sky and hit the Crystal River Nuclear Power Station six miles away. Timmy pushed the thruster handle fully forward and energized the DE Force Field. The small ship leapt forward slamming Amy into her chair’s cushions as Timmy flew it directly away from the giant shockwave that was screaming into the atmosphere above the blasted power station and directly toward them at the speed of sound. Amy was struck silent by the brilliant light that came through the forward viewport. She felt the ship rock violently as the air moving at hurricane force in front of the advancing shockwave blew past them. She looked quickly through the rear viewport and saw the giant blast behind them roll out from the power plant and blow away the towns of Crystal River and Homosassa. A moment later, the armor shielding covered the viewports forcing her to look at the three wall monitors to see what was happening.
