It is summer in Detroit, and while the days may be hot, the nights are cold with fear as the body count keeps on rising. Brad knows that he’s not the most conventional of Wardens. Not only is he a dork in a warrior’s body, but he has a crush on a vampire. But who can blame him? The vampire in question is Jonas. The only problem is Jonas wants nothing to do with Brad and keeps pushing him away. Jonas knows Brad is attracted to him, and he returns the feelings, but he knows now is not the time for romance. Things are more dangerous than ever for the Wardens. Will Jonas break and give into his attraction? Or is Brad destined for heartbreak?
