Part of Series

Imperial Japan was a contradiction...steeped in tradition, at odds with the burgeoning modern world, yet in desperate need of all China, America and the South Pacific had in the way of natural resources...it was physically a very small country, but in its collective mentality, it was the center of all that was right, good, and powerful. In a half dozen years, all that Japan believed would be shaken to the very core of every man, woman and child who lived under the rising sun. No one looks at the Century's Epic Struggle with more insight and humanity than Robert Vaughan.
