The vampires and dwarves have a new enemy. It started with them trying to kill Kealin. Now, he faces an enemy of the ancient world with more ties to him than he realizes. Seeking an ancient jewel of the dwarves, Kealin and the others descend into a maddening place that time has forgotten and the dwarves hid. Worse still, the dwarves of Draylok have a strange connection to something that is much more than just unexpected. Unknown to Kealin though, his rapid rise in power instigated by his spiritual binding to Olia threatens his mental stability and very, very soon he may fight to control an overwhelming madness.
