Part of Series

They should have worried more. Isolde’s pod is found on a remote oasis on Ragnis Crystal after several people get a distress alert. Her pod is still there and the ground is covered in blood, but there is no sign of a pregnant Isolde. After rigorous testing, none of the blood is hers, but there was a lot of blood and Isolde would have had to have been outnumbered or faced with weapons she didn’t know to be subdued and taken. They know more than they should about the Waljan’s weaknesses. Someone is holding Isolde captive. They are doing it in a way she is in a constant state of weakness and unable to use her ice to fight back. They are feeding her well, but she doesn’t know what they want. Her only means of communication is secret faction code tapped into a bracelet they haven’t taken away yet. She doesn’t know where she is or what they want, but these people have her in a place that if Elan comes for her, his gifts will be used against him too and they will both die. If the Dysdaimons took her, what do they want and why won’t they show their faces?

USA Today Bestselling Author JB Trepagnier is a huge liar. She first started lying as a child when someone asked who colored on the walls. She later went on to major in art, so they really should have framed it instead of sending her to the principals office so many times. When she was fourteen, she wrote a very large lie into several notebooks, which later became her first book, Midnight's Sonata. Rather than dabbling in politics and possibly ending up in jail for lying when it counts or under oath, JB chooses to craft elaborate lies into word documents and use them for entertainment rather than harm because she is really batman, just without all the money to fight crime
