A West Indian island, complete with volcano and poisonous snakes, is the dangerously exciting setting for the Five's Easter holiday. And staying with a famous scientist there, they quickly find themselves plunged into adventure. It seems their host is under threat from a rival—an evil 'doctor' who will do anything to lay his hands on the valuable results of the scientist's research. The Five decide to lend a hand and soon find themselves tracking a most deadly enemy . . .
