Sabi nila good things come to those who wait. In my case, hindi ako nagsayang ng oras sa paghihintay lang. I worked hard and really put myself out there, fought my way through. Somewhere along the way, my hard work paid off. Good things did come, and more. Don't get me wrong. I have money, the luxury brands, the quintessential walk-in closet. But somehow, alone in my flat, everything still seems empty. What could I be missing? I've had my share of men - and fair share of mistakes. But I have since moved on. I suspect that the ghost of bad decisions still haunt me today. Is this the price I need to pay for my independence, the consequence of being a filthy, rich bitch? Good things come to those who wait.
