Tania and Brendan, the new love of her life travel to her historic family home on the outskirts of Salem, Massachusetts, to attend a strange anniversary celebration as decreed by William Johnstone's last will and testament. To receive her share of the estate, Marcy Johnstone must spend that night each year at the family home. Rumors of ghosts and hauntings from the distant past—along with a new rumor, that William Johnstone has returned from the dead to kill any young woman seeing an older man as there were those who had speculated that his younger wife might have helped him in the fall down the stairs that had killed him. Tania had loved her grandfather and the rumors are hard to swallow. But a young woman had been murdered just about a year ago and now . . . The celebration becomes something that is doomed to be haunted with deadly intent.
