As you walk around today ask yourself; Do you really know what is underneath the ground you walk on? Is there endless layers of rock with a molten core? Or could there be a whole universe existing within our planet?To most people the idea that our planet could support another universe within would sound strange and unbelievable, but there are a great number who beleive that the Earth may not be as we have been led to beleive, this idea is known as "The Hollow Earth Theory" and is not a recent beleif, in fact the first theories were put forward over 300 years ago.This chapter will take a brief look at the history of the Hollow Earth theory and discuss some of the different theories put forward as to just what may exist inside our planet.So i ask you again; How sure are you that you know what you are standing on? Where did you get this information? Have you actually explored deep into the Earths surface or have you just been told what exists inside?
