During 2014, Wave Books editor Joshua Beckman traveled around the country giving lectures on poetry. In part one of this two-part collection, he includes three variations of a talk that illuminates the intimate experience of making a particular set of his poems. In part two he explores the fluid and social dynamics of poetry as it lives between readers, poems, and books.
