Sometimes one look is all it takes. Thrilled to be visiting her brother in Kona for the birth of his next child, Madeleine Harper and her parents are all set for a quiet family reunion in paradise. That is if Maddie weren't distracted by the naval officer she keeps—literally—bumping into. Retired Captain Daniel O'Neil is looking forward to two weeks in the sunny Hawaiian Islands to connect with the daughter he barely knows. Except his plans didn't include a beautiful stranger he can't forget. More about Look of Love from the author I was very excited to bring Nick's sister Maddie and their parents to the island for the birth of Nick and Kara's son. But I absolutely fell in love with Dan O'Neil. I do so love an officer and a gentleman. It was also a special treat for me to revisit Pearl Harbor and the Arizona memorial. I will note, though it did not happen to me, the story of the foreign tourists was true. I always love playing with the friends and family at the Big Island dive shop and I hope you'll have fun with this little story too! Enjoy! And please remember to leave a review when you're done. I'd love to hear what you thought of Look of Love! More about the contemporary romance Aloha Series: Look of Love is the first romance novella and the sixth volume in the popular beach read Aloha Series. Favorite themes of small town and Hawaii beaches blended with the story of a single dad, lost love, and a surprise son have landed Aloha Texas, the first book in the Aloha series, on the Kindle top military list and made the contemporary romance novel a reader's choice. Almost Paradise is the second book in the Aloha series. Continuing with the well-loved themes of Hawaii beaches and former military heroes, Almost Paradise explores love, marriage, babies, and life after war for a wounded hero. Mai Tai Marriage is the third book in the popular beach read Aloha series. Following the accidental marriage turned marriage of convenience of Jim and Lexie, we also get to visit with and learn what's new in the lives of all the characters we love from the first books. In Shell Game, a glimpse into the past sheds light onto the friendship formed between our regulars at the Big Island Dive shop and the go-to man, Luke "Brooklyn" Chapman, as well as the woman who tamed him. Dive into You, the fifth book in the Hawaiian set romance series, has newcomer to the Big Island Dive shop, Doug Hamilton finding more than a new job in the island paradise of Kona. From the first spark of an idea, writing swashbuckler Doug's story was a blast. Currently working on the next book in the Aloha series, Chris is having fun bringing love, romance and a few surprises to Billy's sister Ava and the regulars at the Big Island Dive shop. A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy-degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!Twenty years later, she started scribbling short stories about her favorite TV shows, giving them lives more to her liking - and the elusive happy ending. Not long after, a dear friend dragged her to a local writers’ meeting. After winning multiple writing contests and making the finals in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious Golden Heart contest, she now spends her days, and nights, writing contemporary romantic fiction with lots of emotion, plenty of surprises, and, of course, the happily ever after. Chris lives in suburban Dallas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.
