How will one man learn to obey his Master when a Master lurks inside himself? Julian leaves the town as captain of Le Frai de Démon, trading his wares in foreign parts. Two years pass, two years of Vincent abstaining from sex and mourning the loss of his love. One night, Vincent's life is turned upside down with the return of Julian and his invitation that Vincent go with him on his next voyage. The sea journey brings enlightenment and tragedy, and the pair return to a life on land. However, tragedy, along with death, dogs their every step. Tormented by the turn of events and the revelation of secrets, Vincent has to learn to put the past behind him and give his all to the Master.
